We know you don't have a lot of time, so each day's reading will take about five minutes. You can leave it at that. Read and be on your way. Or you can take the thought with you as you go about your business. You might find that the Lord uses it on the road. You might come back to it in the evening and dig a bit deeper using scripture as your guide. Maybe you will talk about it with a friend. Each day includes a few lines for journaling. We do encourage you to take a few minutes and write out your thoughts, whatever they may be. There are no rules here. This book is meant to be a gift before the gifts. It is for you and we are hoping that it is from Him in some sense, just because He loves you. Enjoy About the Authors Randy Schlichting Randy has been blessed to participate in kingdom building at Perimeter Church for over 24 years under the leadership of Randy Pope and now Jeff Norris. He has developed and led various ministries, including discipleship and worship. Currently, he serves as the Pastor of Shepherding at Perimeter Church and the President and Dean of Administration and Development at Metro Atlanta Seminary. He has been joyfully married to Dorothy for forty years. They love to minister together, and they love the beach. Together they have three daughters, three wonderful sons-in-law, and five grandchildren. Amy Shirley Amy is a life-long member of Perimeter Church which is where the collaboration for this book began. She is the Managing Partner and a Financial Advisor at Moore & Shirley Financial Planning, LLC. She has been married to her college sweetheart, Josh, for more than 17 years. They enjoy serving together at the church and cheering on their college football team. Together, they have a son and daughter through the gift of adoption.
