My name is Jeff Alan Meints and I have been writing poetry for over twenty years, since the seventh grade at Hidden Valley Middle School in Escondido, California. This book has the first two hundred poems that I wrote during the years of 1991 to 1996 and that is the reason I titled this book, Childlike Ways, because these were the days of my inner child. Please enjoy the evolution of my writing and these beyond corny poems from my childhood. After the read I hope you check out the next few poem books in the series, Youthful Trips (1994 - 1999), Enter Adulthood (1997 - 2001) and The Road Less Traveled (2000- 2016).
