The inspiration for this book comes from Jeremy and Andy reminiscing during the quarantine about past travels that seem so distant, and takes them back to their true loves - food, travel and wine. L'APERO guides readers through each of the wine regions of France, and includes stories of Jeremy and Andy's past travels, 25 L'APEROs, each highlighting a French wine (and one brandy), and a recipe which pairs well with each beverage. A portion of all sales will be donated to World Central Kitchen - a national nonprofit founded by Chef José Andrés and his wife Patricia that uses "the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies through times of crises and beyond.".
