Reseña del libro "High Tide On The Other Side Of The Earth: Poems (en Inglés)"
"A poem...begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness." -- Robert Frost Somehow all poetry starts with an ache. That ache springs from joy, from desire, from loss, from connection. Things happen when the past presses into today, when the world vibrates into each moment, and when forces from the far universe move through us. Here are new poems that attempt to capture the moment when things happen. About the author: Mark Bohrer has designed software to track satellites, written and given sermons, run marathons, managed people and projects, served as a church deacon, stood atop the roof of Notre Dame Cathedral, held a pint of ale in a Salisbury pub, gazed up at the open skylight in the Pantheon, and volunteered on the Franklin School PTO. He is a husband and a dad. This is his first book.
