The purpose of this book is to really help students and parents go through PSLE in a stress free, effortless way. But is that really possible? With copious amounts of household income being spent on tuition each year, the results on many students seem a mixed bag. Why is it that some students grasp math concepts so easily while some effortlessly solve tedious, higher order questions? There are even some students who never seem to get a breakthrough in their math results regardless of the amount of tuition that is given to them?Then there are students who seem to score between 75 to 80 and some who score between 80 to 85 marks but never seem to be able to make those strides in improvements that will put them ahead of the average in class or help them get the A star in PSLE Mathematics.As I am laying out the problems here, I am sure many will be asking questions. Who am I to even ask these questions when so many have failed to find the answers to them. Well, my name is Kingsley and I am a former educator and Math teacher. I still am actually. And I have been teaching for a good part of my life. More than 15 years to be exact. And I find that there are obvious answers to these questions after a lot of trial and error. Believe me when I say that. It is after all 15 years of my life. I can't say that these findings are exclusive to me personally as many teachers may have the answers to these questions but may not have begun to codify it the way I am attempting to here.I am also the writer of approximately 50,000 math questions to date, from primary 1 questions all the way to primary 6 questions. I believe I have too many students to be counted here, both in group setting and on a personal basis. Of course, with regards to private tuition, this is where an experienced tutor can sieve out most of the students' problems and also this is where the SingaporeMathGuru system came to be. That would be hard to do in a classroom setting but in a group setting, you see a child's mistakes originate in his or her mind. That is something quite deep actually. A mistake on paper begins in the mind. One has to uproot that in the mind before actually seeing real improvement.
