Reseña del libro "Life as a Doodle: Life Is Transition"
I am first and foremost a special education teacher. Every morning, I arrive at my classroom ninety minutes early so I can, with a clear mind, create my daily doodle. For decades, "Doodle Me" was just mine - my friend and my crutch. However, on a whim, in 2014, I decided to share her (Doodle Me) for the first time on my Facebook page. Much to my surprise, I received overwhelmingly positive responses from that post. It was at that point I began to share her daily on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Since 1977, Doodle Me has been my "happy place", a place where I could retreat for tranquility, for inspiration, and sometimes for flat-out survival. Doodle Me is me, in cartoon form. She is as confused by life as she is thrilled to be a part of it. She allows me to use my art to explain to me (and possibly others) why I am so utterly, utterly different than everyone else.
