Back in 2012, as a 22 year-old, Julian D. Howard became an author. As an alumnus and through his education at the prestigious Bellarmine College Preparatory High School in San Jose, California and the University of Wisconsin-Madison he set out to create a scholarship fund to help inspire the African-American students of Bellarmine College Preparatory's African-American Student Union. Through all net proceeds of his debut book, A Tradition of Excellence: The History of Bellarmine College Preparatory's African-American Student Union, he is now able to aid college bound club members.
