London Calling is a tragi-comic story of two young Aussie girls adrift in London seeking love and adventure. Lured by the prospect of adventure and dreaming of romance, old school friends, Cassie and Anya arrive in London with almost no money. Whether it is hitching through Europe, sleeping rough on trains or slumming in the city, their carefree lifestyle comes at a cost. Their adventures expose them to danger, cruelty and exploitation but they also encounter kindness and compassion, often in the most unlikely circumstances. However the difficulties and disappointments inevitably take their toll and, haunted by dark secrets, the friends' hedonistic quest ultimately leads to trouble.
