Reseña del libro "Love and Death in Venezuela"

Welcome to the seventh exciting episode of the Harold Gatewood murder mystery series. Harold Gatewood, again injured after his return to the big leagues, faces the end of his baseball career. Despondent from the gruesome death of his Korean lover Yeong Hyeon, he heads to Venezuela to scout players for major league baseball. Awaiting in Caracas are encounters with Columbian drug cartels, the Venezuelan military drug syndicate, and a terrorist organization called the True Columbian People's Liberation Movement (TCPLM) that helps transport the drugs worldwide from their base in Venezuela. Gatewood's old enemy, the AIO terrorist organization, sends another agent, Usoa Hilketa, to terminate him. Harold finds love with the beautiful Venezuelan Luisa Gaicia, only to lose her to his drug cartel enemies. He deals with murder, assassination, and high-level espionage in Venezuela, a country falling apart economically, financially, and politically that poses a threat to the region, the results of which could cause serious problems for the United States. Additional dangerous episodes and associations with other players on the world's political and criminal stages further complicate Gatewood's life and lead him on a thrilling and dangerous adventure in Venezuela.
