Reseña del libro "Maggie Wilson's WACKY Worlds III: Maggie Returns Home to Chaos (en Inglés)"
NOTE: As with the other two books, parts are written 'tongue-in-cheek', in keeping with the 'Wacky' concept.Upon receiving the proclamations of the Higher Power in the Faraway, that would re-invent Earth I, Maggie is transcended to the location where she began her first adventure, namely Sedona, Arizona. The Higher Power, also known as HP, had by decree, designated the name of Earth I, to now be referred to as "Maggie's World III".The Planet had been left in a state of virtual destruction, after massive floods destroyed most of the World that now reflected only the two continents of North and South America as land masses. All industrialization, including computers, were no longer in evidence.Maggie plays a significant role in the instituting of the major changes, for she was to essentially begin a new society of humans, without many of the adverse traits that were so prevalent before the flood.Sarah and Skunk play larger roles. A stray dog, that Skunk names Dorothy, becomes her best friend and constant companion, then becomes a continuous player in the inner circle of characters.Joisey, the hypochondriac cow, stays in touch with Maggie. The Professor, Golye and Mo-Jo remain as part of the original group, while Dog and Una choose to remain in the Faraway, temporarily, until HP gives them their own little planet.Fleet remains as Maggie's constant companion, number one son and protector. As he puts it, "I beez wit you allatime, allaways. Dats my job!" His English never gets any better!Significant changes suggested for World III, as Earth I becomes designated, are that there is no longer a food chain, as had been instituted on Earth II, requiring that living things no longer had to eat each other. The most significant of all the proclamations, at Maggie's request, was that females would dominate over males, reversing most of their roles, including that of bearing the children! At the moment, there were no men about to protest the decree, nor had she thought through the ramifications; she just liked the idea of it!And because of Maggie's and HP's high regard for animals, they were not affected, except that there were no longer any predators among them! Man was to leave them to their own devices. Or at least that was the plan!By the very nature of her having to institute a new World order, there are a few similarities to Maggie I and II; however, in its entirety, this phase of her story is unique and unusual, as were the others, guaranteed! And to quote the old adage, 'if something can go wrong, it will' and this does not exclude the plans of Princesses and Higher Powers, as the case may be!
