New Age Economics compares the economic discipline with religion as individual behavior molders. The book starts by examining some very basic principles of economics. Next, the use of language to create impressions using meekness and competitiveness is demonstrated. A broad examination and comparison of Socialism, Communism, Capitalism, and Fascism in terms of economic activity and control follows. The book explains the presence of emotional, mental, and spiritual rewards/resources, when combined with the production and distribution of physical resources, makes for complicated economic calculations. Since many emotional, mental, and spiritual rewards are invisible, theses rewards are actually impossible to quantify creating the current problems worldwide which appear beyond traditional economic control. Lastly this book analyzes the Ten Commandments through an economic outlook as well as other viewpoints. The analysis supports a horizontal civilization structure which would make economic calculations much, much simpler and avoid the worst atrocities of underlying Totalitarian tendencies for leadership in any economic system when faced with overpopulation or anticipated failure foisting loser labels on those holding the bag of responsibility. This book is written in an informal, clear, informative style which both engages and at times entertains the reader.
