We can be Steadfast and Immovable in the Christian life by heeding the four admonitions the writer of Hebrews presents to the Jewish believers in chapter 10.Since we have access to God's throne in the very presence of our great high priest, we draw near to him with a true heart, holding fast to the confession of our hope, considering how we can encourage others to love and good works, and not neglecting to meet regularly in God's house to gear up to face the world.As I write this book, present circumstances in our country and the world (COVID-19, isolation, elections, unrest, etc.) have left many confused, frustrated, overwhelmed, and lost. We, as Christians, may be their only hope. Where do we prepare to face this community? In the church. The writer of Hebrews tells us we don't shrink back; in faith, we persevere, remaining Steadfast and Immovable.
