As a management consultant and educator with a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology, John Mirocha shows us how to make every life experience a learning experience. His perspective and skills have been honed by more than 30 years of business leadership experience in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America. He has published short articles (stories) about his experiences with everyday life for more than 20 years and used the stories with students, consulting clients and colleagues to illustrate important lessons learned about life, leadership, work and society. Sixteen years ago he created a bi-monthly service sending the stories electronically to readers. This book is published in celebration of the 100th story. Readers were asked to comment on their favorite story and why is was significant for them. Many readers comments are included in the text interpreting and deepening the significance of the story. This dialogue works as a teaching and learning tool for both author and readers.
