Cancer is often called as a lifestyle disease, which afflicts people all around the world. To make things worse, it is further strengthened by the unsupportive genetic makeup of the patient. It is difficult to pinpoint a certain cause, as cancer is the consequence of interplay between environmental cues and genetic profile. Despite the tremendous worldwide advances in healthcare and research, a rise in the incidence of cancer is being witnessed, referred to as the cancer boom. Keeping that in view, this book has been written with a keen attempt to target students appearing for graduate and postgraduate entrance exams, CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, etc. The book uses a very simple, crisp, and easy-to-comprehend language.
