Reseña del libro "The Lone Wolf (en Inglés)"
This is a novella in three separate and distinct parts. The lone wolf plays a part in the first one, where he is a sad actor in the story of a highland estate, from its inception during the Napoleonic wars, right through to the present day. Land owners are not looked upon kindly by the present Scottish government, and in this fictional work I have tried to tell their side of the story. Part two is a trifle spooky, just right for reading in front of a log fire on a winters evening. Some of the stories are true, some are pure fiction, and some lie, somewhat uncomfortably, in between. I invite you, dear reader to decide which are which! Part three is the story of my life "on the hoof" in my favourite part of the world, the English Lake District, where I now live in retirement. The Scottish Highlands, where I was, for a brief time, a member of the RAF Mountain Rescue Team, through to the Alps, where I have shared many climbs, including Mont Blanc, with my son Neil who lives amongst them. Ending with our assault on the snows of Kilimanjaro in deepest Africa.
