During my fairly long life, beginning with recurrent spiritually important dreams as a pre-adolescent, I have had an entire life of so-called "paranormal" experiences. And after an incredible spiritual personal epiphany that brought me back to a belief in "God" (sans religion), the Great Spirit, the All, the Force, the One, the Ground of Being, etc., I entered a wonderful two year period of Psychic Development and Spiritual Unfoldment, after which instead of returning to my former work as a University Professor of Modern Literature & Creative Writing, I began my new Life's Work as a touring psychic counsellor, spiritual healer, speaker, seminar giver and radio & TV personality. The end of the very active phase of my career as a psychic & healing channel, I turned to writing full-time in 2005. Since then I have written more than a million finished words and soon will have approximately twenty books published with Amazon. The contents of this volume, "The Man Who Was NOT of this Earth & Other Psychic Stories and Essays", was first, and is still, printed as PsychicMind Blogger by Richard Lee Van Der Voort on Google. Mind/Spirit, I believe, makes up our total Reality, much as Plato outlined in general terms. And, as Plotinus suggested, the portion of our Self that incarnates remains rooted in the more Real World of Spirit, the World we return to after our drama for personal growth in the physical body and material world is complete, whether successful for our personal evolution or not. Reincarnation, I believe, is fact. And being a "particular" in the Ultimate Reality we call "God" suggests that our lives are also eternal. We, like our Source, have neither beginning nor end. Like "God", we always were and will always be a "particular" in "That". A distinct entity individualized, conscious and aware. But, while we work our way through any given incarnation, a drama in physical life and mind, we gradually grow toward our own personal godhood as the great Edgar Cayce, a full trance medium, explained during his great work during the 1930's. "Ye are gods in the making!" his psychic channel exclaimed. My stories and essays in this particular volume are suggestive of my mind-self-expanding life-experience during this current incarnation, this one-of-many lives in the physical, before returning Home once again to the more Real Reality, Spirit!
