Following her search to find the idyllic, small town life she'd dreamed of the author moves to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware only to find that what she'd expected was not what she'd find. This book is the authors attempt to understand how a doctor could commit such unspeakable crimes and how those crimes crippled her community. It is about a middle-aged woman who becomes first curious and then obsessed with a sociopath. This story, written over a three-year period as the Bradley case develops and then goes to trial, is a story of lost faith, unforgivable actions, the insidious nature of secrets and what they can reveal about us all.
