One day, just before Christmas, a little terrier, Thaddeus, jumps out of his mom's car when she stops at the Mall. His sister, Charlotte, is only ten years old and misses him horribly. They search for him while he has an adventure through the streets of LA that has the little dog visiting fast-paced movie sets, the glamour of Beverly Hills, the surf culture of Santa Monica beach, the canals of Venice and many more corners of vast Los Angeles. He is found three months later forty miles from his home but happily reunited with his Mom and sister, There is one twist, though, A new puppy has become part of the family....
