When the county assigns Luke to be Fiona's driver, neither of them is exactly thrilled with the prospect, but they have little choice, and both end up making discoveries they never expected. When what began as a single sighting leads to the discovery cattle mutilations, Satanic cults, mysterious men in black, classified government facilities, and secrets people are willing to kill to protect, they are shocked to uncover a conspiracy dating back to the days of H.P. Lovecraft that leaves the fate, not only of Point Pleasant, but of the entire world and the very fabric of time, space, and the universe itself, hanging in the balance. Because the 'mothman' is only the tip of the dark cosmic iceberg; there are other, far more deadly monsters out there as well, and a few of them are even human...more or less.
